You should not need another desktop client to move a paragraph. Open ThrowNotes, type or paste, then continue on the other device.
Still choose the right door: home note for same-public-IP convenience, share link for remote access, account room when you want private sync after login.
The short workflow
- Open thrownotes.me on the first device.
- Paste non-sensitive text on the home note (wait for autosave) or create a share link.
- Open the site—or the share URL—on the second device.
- Copy what you need, then clear temporary text.
Why not just use chat?
Chat mixes a one-off paste into a long history. Email leaves another inbox crumb for a single line. A notepad keeps the transfer short and easy to throw away.
Nearby on the same public IP? Home note is enough. Farther apart? A share link still beats installing software.
